Ayla Wrote:"xbmc - 2:10.0~svn32696~deb1-1~0lucid2" looks built now.

Has anyone installed this and can verify that it works on Lucid?

Thanks Smile

I installed this on 64 Bit and it works like a charme. Nod
output didn't work on mine either after this update. reinstalled gfx drivers and all is good, gave me reason to update to 256.44 too

Thanks!

Worked fine for me too on 32 Bit Lucid :-)
Not sure if I'm on the right repository or not.. it says XBMC PRE-10.5 rUnknown (compiled:Aug 11 2010). I installed it yesterday and am having a problem with streams. When I stream directly from my HDHomeRun it crashes and gives a crashlog.

See this thread for a more detailed analysis.

installed today ubuntu 10.4 (32bit) to a new friend's htpc, all runs fine BUT no xbmc:
i cannot install it (reading the wiki): actually is not in the repo?
regards
Is the XBMC SVN PPA supposed to build without RAR-support? eg. --disable-non-free flag

Are u sure that it is actually working? You posted like 30 minutes ago and already tried it and it does not work.
It returns with: "Couldn't find package XBMC"
No, I asked if that was the right repository because I am seeing pre 10.5 instead of an SVN Build Number. It was compiled yesterday, so it is up-to-date for sure.
I am not sure where you see this build bro but I wish to know and to try it out. I am in the same position, installed lucid and during the last three days I could not install xbmc from terminal and in synaptic it is not listed anymore.

It's the right repo, yes.
I installed it today on a virtualbox just to test strings while translating.
It says xbmc is not available because ceros - or someone else - erased it from the repo. Not even the build log reflects it anymore...
according to digitall, i cannot found xbmc in the repo (now i cannot test, other pc: i talk about 4/6 hours ago and tested many times)
the repo showed to me only a xbmc "key/gpg related file" i dont' remeber exactly the name, but as well after it installed no xbmc (in the repo) at all

can be a mirror prob?

edit: sorry outleradam thx for the reply, yes one of the tests was obv that one according to the xbmc.wiki, not working that one i tried some other tests (removing that repo, then import gpg.. etcetc..): maybe i wrong something but here does not works ( i'm using ubuntu/fedora here from years, but not a guru)
I've been seeing the same thing since last night...and after reading a few posts it looks like it's been this way for a few days. Took a look at https://edge.launchpad.net/~team-xbmc/+archive/ppa and it shows basically the same thing: the key but no xbmc binary.

Haven't been able to find anything about when they're due to be back up though...

EDIT: \/\/\/ Sweet, thanks for the update theuni
We're doing some surgery on the repos. Should be fixed soon.
