New user here.  Just trying to figure out how to send a private message.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I get an error message, You do not have permission to access this page. This could be because of one of the following reasons:
Your account has either been suspended or you have been banned from accessing this resource.
You do not have permission to access this page. Are you trying to access administrative pages or a resource that you shouldn't be? Check in the forum rules that you are allowed to perform this action.

You cannot PM until you have enough posts and time on here. Also don’t spam post just to get PMs working.

What TJay says is correct - new users do not have PM rights. It's an anti spam measure.

Why would a brand new user want to be sending PM's anyway?
