I am a new Kodi user with an install problem. My iMac is running High Sierra and I am trying to install Kodi 17.6. After following the install instructions, downloading and running the .dmg file numerous times I am unable to launch Kodi. Every time I try, I get a message the app is damaged and should be moved to the trash. I have trashed it and repeated the download and install and always with the same result. So far I cannot launch Kodi.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hector
Search for Gatekeeper.
I know about Gatekeeper. On my High Sierra computer in Security & Privacy settings my only choices are apps downloaded from the App Store and App Store and Identified users. There is no option to open all apps regardless of source. I downloaded the .dmg file again today and moved Kodi to my application folder. I tried to open using control-click > open and I still get the message about the app being damaged.

Huh
You didn’t search good enough I would say
