I'm trying to install a nightly build on the NVidia Shield, but I keep getting App not installed.

I'm downloading the Arm64 version.

Is it just me with this issue?
I'm I using the correct version, as I'm sure the Shield accepts 64 bit apps.

I've tried 28th and 29th nightly so far with same results.

One reason can be you didn't install an official kodi version so it's now refused

I've downloaded direct from Kodi website.
The APK installs fine on my Pixel 2 XL, but not on my Shield.
It must be some settings blocking it somewhere.
I've enabled installing from unknown sources, but still same though.

(It's a fresh clean install, not an update)

I've just tried today's release, and same result.
Will install on my Pixel 2 XL, but on my Shield it just says App not installed.

Fixed

The problem was ES File Explorer. It wouldn't install it.
Used X-plore File Manager instead and installed straight away.

 sadly won't work if it's not installed yet however you could install v17 first and then install nightly
