hello everyone,
- newbie here, but decided to understand and learn-
Some of you may have read me recently, I was questioning on some settings to get the best quality picture when playing videos from Kody v17. 6 via a Shield TV on an AF8 Sony.
And I understood if you play mixed blurays (1080p) and UHD movies it gets complicated, because it's difficult to set mixed settings for those formats, additionally the Shield upscaling is not good, ect...
However (my brain might be slow), I realized, the solution would be simply to instal KODI directly on the TV, no?? No problems of player settings (resolution, format...). Sorry to ask, but I haven't found much info.
