Hi i have a xiaomi laser projector that has android 6.0.1 built in
It's essentialy a mi box built in but doesn't have google play. (Chinese version)

Cpu cortex a53 1.8ghz
Cpu mali-830 mp2

2gb ddr3
16gb emmc 5.0

I've downloaded other programs apk files and installed them via usb and they all work perfectly but when I download the kodi apk and try to install via a usb, It installs as normal and when I open kodi from the all apps screen for the first time it opens the screen "preparing for first time run" then once it's finished it takes me back to the all apps screen. Then when I try to open it again it goes black for 2 seconds and then back to all apps screen

Any idea how to fix this issue please

Enable debugging via the advancedsettings.xml file first, and restart Kodi.
Then see if you can provide us the debug log (wiki) for starters.

so do i just create a file call "advancedsettings.xml"
and put the following txt in it
