I have used Kodi for many years. Always on Windows or Android, though. I have today installed Linux Mint 19. Installation went fine. Opened software manager, searched Kodi, and installed it. Seemed to go fine. Kodi loads okay. But, when I tried to install the skin, I get this error: The dependency on script.module.certifi version 2017.07.27.1 could not be satisfied. I also notice that the official Repository is not even shown to install anything from. The only reason I could try installing Titan beta is because I put its zip repository on a USB drive. Hoping someone can help. Thank you.
the kodi package in the official repositories are patched by debian and unsupported here. Use one of our PPAs, see my signature
Thank you very much. I'm all set. I do have one other issue, but I better make a separate post for it.
