Kodi (18.0-BETA1 Git:20180828-f21b477). Platform: Linux x86 64-bit, Ubuntu 18.04

Kodi got itself in a state where it would run a while and then crash after about 5 minutes. I do have the trailer screensaver running, perhaps that is the problem. It normally works fine in this update, but sometimes you see a blank screen with "waiting" displayed. When this happens you can press "exit" to return to normal screen.

Please install gdb and provide the stracktrace, it's empty for you:

I do have gdb installed and I do see some other Kodi crash logs with stack traces in it. I'll try to repeat.

Post those with the crashlogs or start kodi in gdb directly, please.
