Hi guys
just a small message , it seems ppa unstable is not up to date actually ( I try to update to beta 2 but after "sudo apt-get update" and "sudo apt-get upgrade kodi" , it seems there s nothing new about kodi).
I m still in beta 1.
Hmm... Kodi here got auto-updated via the unstable PPA this afternoon:
hum , I must check again , it s very strange when I do the followings commands , nothing updates on my rig :
$ sudo apt-get update
...
done
$ sudo apt-get upgrade kodi
....
kodi is already the most recent version (2:18.0+git20180828.0901-beta1-0bionic).
update... nothing to do
I'm still running Ubuntu 16.04, you are running 18.04...
Apparently Launchpad has a problem in forwarding that build.

I uninstall kodi and try reinstall but it still downloads beta1.
(I even reinstall the ppa unstable to be sure ! )
