I connected a USB hard drive to my router to share it across my network. I can access it properly from ES explorer and AND SMB using the username/password pair admin/admin (same as router configuration credentials) but it is not accessible from Kodi for some reason. Kodi keeps asking for a username and password in a loop.
If I use the username "guest" and no password, I can browse the router SMB server and see my drive listed, but when I click it kodi asks for a different username and password and doesn't accept anything.
This is the same in Kodi 17.x and 16.1.
What could be the issue?
