Hey guys,
i am running the latest Beta from the Leia version and just found out when I play music (flac), the kodi says it is stereo.
When I play movies the surround is definetly there. So I did go to the settings and saw that the number of channels is set to 2 (which confused me a bit, because the surround sound IS there in movies).
I have kodi on a FireTV stick conneted via HDMI to my TV (LG, not the newest) and the TV connected via optical cable to my surround System. (Logitech Z906)
So i looked up at the Audio Quickstart guide (https://kodi.wiki/view/Audio_quickstart_guide) and I am a bit confused now what the best settings (current settings are the "TV" coloumn settings)
maybe I also can grab the adudio signal from the HDMI and going into my Surrdound system directly? Is that better than the long way from FireTV->TV->Surr.System?
Can some audiophile people here help me find the best settings ?
