I have VU+ solo 4k with Open ATV 6.3 image. There is Kodi 17.6 installed. Is it possible to update the Kodi to version 18?

I think you will find the current version you have pre-installed on your Solo device has been modified by the Open ATV team in order to work with their image and more specifically VU+ devices. When I looked at their website recently, Kodi 18 is not available, most likely because it's still a Beta release currently.

Might be idea to ask on the Open ATV forum....
