I have been using the beta versions and the new RC1 which works well for playback and movie scraping. However there doesn't seem to refresh the data on an existing movie in my libray once it has been entered. From time to time I update my movie files from SD to HD and improve to audio to DTSHD etc but have no way to tell Kodi the information has changed. In version 17 and in SPMC and indeed MrMC once the revised version is played the library  data on definition etc uipdated in version !8 it doesn't. Asking it to refresh deosn't appear to do anything. Apart from that it seems a a great edition.

did you resolve this. I have same problem so on main computer gone back to 17.6 as it works. 18 doesnt work. Play the file and it still shows as 480p not 720p, just wont update
