Kodi Community Forum

So I have tried kodi on open elec raspberry and fire cube. When the the internet goes down, kodi cannot access files in my network. It’s not the router because I can still access the files through my phone with VLC. Why does Kodi lose the ability to access network files when the internet goes down?

Pulling files usually through .smb

UPNP still works. SMB does not.

Not using that anymore since I switched to the fire but I had the same problem back then too.
