How do binary addons get updated?  When I check the current Nightly for Windows the repo is still showing pvr-nextpvr at 3.3.4 and Android is packaged with 3.3.4 as well and that is more than one month behind the commits.  All of the pvr addons seem to be stale like that.

Martin
They will be automatically updated via the repo once the responsible developer tags a new release version on Github.
However it looks like there should have been 2 updates since 3.3.4 going by https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.nextpvr/releases
Hmmm our builder only sees the one tag however see https://jenkins.kodi.tv/view/Addons/job/...view/tags/

So maybe not as automatic as I thought, perhaps waiting for someone to push something.
Thanks for the link. Perhaps it is related to the date of the scan being Dec. 15.  https://jenkins.kodi.tv/view/Addons/job/...ng/console

I also note that this change was merged from a remote that wasn't tagged with 3.3.7 or 3.3.8 so perhaps this has caused an issue https://jenkins.kodi.tv/view/Addons/job/...ing/events

jjd-uk, what do I need to do to ensure the most recent build of my pvr.nextpvr addon is included with the nightlies?
You need to tag what you want to release, that's all you have to do. Follow the naming scheme, please.
I thought I understood process now binary addons are served from the Add-on repo, but perhaps I've missed some detail. I've pinged a couple of guys internally for an answer.
Looks like there may have been an issue with our Jenkins builder, it has been given a kick and I believe it's seeing the 3.3.8 tag now, so hopefully should start to propagate out in the next 24 to 48 hrs.

What is the naming scheme once v18 is complete and you want the build to go to both versions especially if there is a new API?  Right now it is 3.3.8-Leia but we don't even know what M is yet.

Martin
Has the process for this changed?   @sub3 tagged a release of pvr.nextpvr 3.3.17-Leia but it hasn't shown up in the nightly builds.  Also some others did work on 3.3.16 back in August and it didn't get tagged or built so that may have started the problem.

Martin
Ok I do see the job sitting in a queue https://jenkins.kodi.tv/job/kodi-pvr/job...17-Leia/1/  There are also a lot of Matrix pvr job's and another pv's Leia job queued

Windows build server was down for a bit, so there's a fair bit of a backlog at the moment.
