Hi forum,

On a freshly started Kodi everything is normal with the movie list. I have selected to show only unseen movies and so far, Kodi shows only unseen movies. But when a watched movie is finished and Kodi returns to the list mode, all my seen movies are also shown with the checkbox where they are marked as seen.

This was definitely not so with Kodi 17.6. I have migrated on my Sony Android TV from Kodi 17.6 to Kodi 18 RC1 and I started to notice the above-mentioned behavior with Kodi 18 RC2. Today I have installed Kodi 18 RC 4 and the situation is still unchanged.

I have used the Transparecy! Skin as well as the build-in Esturacy skin. Both give the same erratic result.

To crosscheck, I installed the latest Kodi 18 RC 4 on an windows PC. Under Windows everything runs fine with movie list and “seen” movies do not appear as “unseen” in the list.

I like to with all forum members a happy new year!
Debug log might help but I just tested this on both Windows and Android and had no such problem.
Thank you Hitcher,

here is the log file:

The issue still persists. Any clue?
I came online today to look this up as I am also having this issue since v18. 17.6 did not have this problem. I understand this is still in a pre-release state, so I am not complaining at all. I just wanted to make sure it is a known issue. This is happening on both my Nvidia Shield and a Windows 10 PC.

To further explain what i am seeing: I always leave mine set to show unwatched shows. Lately, it shows all the episodes in a season. Some will have checks showing they have been watched and some won't have the checks even though they have been watched. If I select one episode and tell it to "mark as watched" then it will refresh the entire screen and show correctly (only show episodes that have not been watched). Once I watch something else and come back, then all the episodes are showing again and I have to repeat the process.

I created/posted the following video so you can see what I am talking about.

In this video, all shown episodes have been watched even though the last three aren't checked. After selecting one and marking it as watched, they all disappear because the page refreshed and is now showing correctly.

I hope this helps explain and hopefully leads to a resolution.

Does anyone know if this is something they are working on? I really haven't seen much in the way of conversations about it.

I wasn't able to reproduce so it's best you report it on GitHub.

Opened issue on github. Hopefully I did it correctly.

404 error for me.
It could also be Github having another one of its episodes.

404 error for me.
I noticed that I have a warning at the top that states my account has been flagged and now my profile is hidden from the public. I have contacted support to see what that is about.
It shows up fine on my end if I click the link, but maybe this flag keeps others from viewing it. Not sure what is going on there.
Here is a better video to show what is happening.

Just to be sure, we're at RC5.2 currently. Did you already upgrade and re-check?

I had the flag removed, so see if you can see it now.
