I am using Kodi 17.6 on my MacMini running High Sierra.
I konfigured my Harmony 665 Remote as ‚Kodi device‘ instead as Apple Remote, to have more functions available.
Everytime I start Kodi I need to go to Settings -> Input and deactivate/reactivate the Remote (I set it to ‚Harmony Remote‘) to get it working. Everything is fine, all buttons work as expected, until I reboot the Mac/Restart Kodi. Then again I have to do the deactivate/reactivate to get it working.
Has anyone an idea how to get it working from the start?
