most likely your centos is several years old - perhaps they provide "xbmc" instead.

Else: compile from source via github.com/xbmc
What version (release) of CentOS?
Code:
[[email protected] ~]$ uname -a -m -p
Linux localhost.localdomain 3.10.0-957.1.3.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Nov 29
14:49:43 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
thats not the centos version.
Anyway: it's possible to compile kodi on centos, but you will have to jump through several hoops to get all needed dependencies built. For Kodi we highly recommend to use a distro that's not from the stone age Wink
I'm guessing Centos7 of some release?  Try the contents of /etc/issue instead.

Either way, you may want to add the RPM to your repo list: HOW-TO:Install_Kodi_on_Fedora_26_using_RPMFusion_packages (wiki)
