Hi guys,
I wanted to read 4k video so I purchase for nothing a Mi Box S. (Android Version 8.1.0)
From Playstore I installed KODI (the 17.6 I think it is now)
In Kodi Settings, I went to Audio then the passthrough Option.
In the passthrough option I only have
- Allow passthrough
- DD (AC3) capable reciever
Enable DD (AC3) transcoding
No option for DD+ / DTS
Otherwise, i'm using KODI on a RPI2 (Libreelec, KODI Leia Version). And my RPi2 Kodi, I do have this "DTS capable audio reciever" and it work fine.
To test the Mi Box S, I just unplugged the HDMI cable from my RPI2 into the Mi Box S.
Did I miss with the Kodi on Mi Box S something ?
If it's help, my configuration
RPI2 / Mi Box S => HDMI => A/V Reciever, ONKYO RZ-1100 => HDMI => TV
