So, I used the windows store app of Kodi 17, it auto-updated and I lost everything, my library, my settings, everything. Ok, my mistake for having auto-updates enabled I guess. Lesson learned there.

So I installed the regular Windows version instead, and I can't find my network drives?
I have a NAS with all my media and I use Windows sharing and Network drives.
So the path to my movie folder is something like X:\Movies.
But Kodi is unable to find that path, even though that path works perfectly for everything else.
What might be the problem?
It's probably associated with this issue https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2814067 now that you have installed the forums flavour the userdata folder is in a slightly different place

Start - type %APPDATA%\kodi\userdata - press <Enter>

you would need to copy from https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid2814067 the location noted in that post overwriting the userdata folder in your C:\Users\PatK\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata
It's also possible you now need to download the SMB vfs addon from the Kodi repository for SMB functionality.
