I'm unable to play MPG files from my QNAP NAS unless I set SMBv1 as maximum protocol version in KODI settings.
The log shows read errors: JUVOWOTIWO (paste)
I upgraded yesterday from 17.6 to 18, before the access was working fine.
The NAS is currently configured for SMB1 and SMB2.
There are also other users with the same problem:

I suspect the SMB2 version is broken in KODI 18.
