When a movie is added or updated (nfo changed), is it possible to notifiy kodi (via the jsonrpc api) to refresh/add the movie automatically?

In TMM V3, there is already such a method in right-click menu of the item.
(once you have Kodi configured & connected in settings)
Has not been tested so far - be the first, and report back

I have configured my Ip address in External devices -> Kodi ... I click on connect, nothing happens.

I don't see any option to notify kodi when I right click on a movie

ah forgot to tell:
You need to aktivate the settings->services->control in Kodi:
HTTP, and imho the other 2 "remote control" open the RCP port...

 yup done.. I successfully connected to kodi (I corrected the ports) but when I notify a movie to Kodi, nothing happens on Kodi...

please have a look into logfile.
There migth be an automated matching problem...

how does matching actually work?

tinymediamanager is on my windows pc and I have configured it to scan my NAS content (via smb)... and Kodi is on a seperate android box also using the content on my NAS .. 

wouldn't there be a problem matching the movies?

edit: on ember media manager, you can do matching between local path and remote path (on kodi)
