I am currently using dvbviewer with madvr streaming from a vu+. I would like to know if madvr is supported using dvbviewer plugin with dvbviewer recording service under Kodi 18.

Your question is not PVR related. The PVR is just passing data (tv stream) to Kodi. Afaik you need to use an alternate player like DSPlayer. But that's all I know.

Thanks Manül, I was assuming it is not supported out of the box as within the DVBviewer main app. Dspayer is no longer supported with Kodi 18. Do you know which data/stream format is used? If an external Kodi player with madvr support (e.g. mpc-be) would be able to handle the format it should be possible.Or would it even be possible to use DVBViewer as external kodi player? Even though I don't know if an external player is even possible within Kodi 18 TV functionality.
