A while ago bought a Xiaomi Mi Box S. While setting it up, I want to connect to my Windows HTPC to use the music, pictures and videos as source for the Mi Box S. I did that on the exact same way as from a Windows client and I get "Operation not permitted"
Tried on my Samsung Galaxy S8: same result
Tried to connect from my Surface Pro: gets connected.
Why doesn't Android connect to the Windows HTPC?
What should I provide?
Both Android devices run Android 8.
The Windows machines all run Windows 10 Pro
Kodi 18 Leia is used everywhere
