This looks very interesting, thank you.
Thank you very much for this tool, just what I was looking for. Maybe you can add a way to import a txt/csv file with a list of URLs and type (xml/gz). Especially if you have about 20-30 files you want to merge.

I'll get a fix for this hopefully today.
I had to change the way the merge works to reduce resource usage with large files.
UPDATE:
Just pushed update (0.1.2) that will fix your issue.

Ignore last message, it seems to work, just had to wait longer.

Thank you very much for the fix.
After I set it up the screen to choose sources never comes up...
Hi MAtt,
just struggling with a little issue....
Have installed your IPTV AU, Foxtel Now and iptv merge add-ons (thanks

)
Added 'IPTV AU' and 'Foxtel Now' as EPGs under iptv merge
PVR IPTV Simple Client installed and ran the 'Setup IPTV Simple Client' item in iptv merge settings
Ran 'Run Merge'
Nothing showed up, so checked the generated epg.xml & playlist.m3u8 files. epg.xml looks OK, but playlist.m3u8 only has the 1 line '#EXTM3U'
Checked logs:
https://paste.kodi.tv/ucuviceked.kodi
All default settings.
Running on OSX 10.14.5
Any suggestions?
Thanks

It's actually Foxtel Go (not Now)....
@trevorbatley
Try uninstalling all the add-ons (including merge).
Re-install them and try again

Thanks Matt.
Did a totally clean install of Kodi (18.2), after uninstall and removal of ~/Library/Application Support/Kodi directory.
Only installed PVR Simple IPTV Client, IPTV Merge and Foxtel Go.
Logged into Foxtel Go.
Ran Setup IPTV Simple client from IPTV Merge and then the Merge.
playlist.m3u8 and epg.xml files created. epg.xml looks good, playlist.m3u8 only contains '#EXTM3U'
Debug log attached

You haven't added Foxtel Go as a Playlist source.
You need to add it as a Playlist source and EPG source.
That is why your playlist is empty
