Is there any trick to power on/off the N2 using a Harmony 650 remote?

I already has it configured as Windows Media Center remote that work flawlessly with CoreElec.

see here for power on your N2 via a remote: https://discourse.coreelec.org/t/how-to-...akeup-code
I'm stuck using Wifi with one of mine at the moment.
I have it standy with CEC, but when it wakes up again - sometimes it has a few issues re-connecting.

Maybe I should just leave on all the time?
I used to leave my C2 on all the time.
What is power consumption like?

Official Hardkernel numbers:
Power consumption
Idle state: 1.6~1.8 Watt
Heavy load state: 5.2~5.3 Watt (stress-ng –cpu 6 –cpu-method matrixprod)

Some more measurments
Nice.

So even at 2W, that would cost me about $4.64 a year to keep on all the time.
Minus that estimate 6 hours a day it would be anyway = 1/4 = $1.16
$3.48 more a year x2 (devices)
Call it $7 = 58 cents a month.
58 cents a month for less waiting / annoyance might be worth it.

Yes and then you can Slave spend more time cooking up even more hot code for quality Kodi Addons for those of us us living in Kiwi and Skippy land Wink
Anyone know where the config.ini is located?

Slot that storage into a PC / Mac and edit the config.ini file.

Otherwise SSH login and:

Code:
mount -o rw,remount /flash
nano /flash/config.ini

CTRl-X to exit and save

Nice work mate !

It’s like a Kodi Addon Skunk works factory at your place. Wink
I bet @peak3d never imagined you would take DRM streaming this far.

Is all Stan content sped up 25fps ?

Not all content is 25fps. Most content from North America on Stan seems to be the correct 23.976fps, with one major exception being Disney, which is all 25fps.
Hi,

i got my N2 this weekend. Installed Coreelec 9.2, all good so far.

My only problem is color banding in 4K HDR.
Same file played with ATV 4K and Infuse is perfect.

I tried 422-12bit and the latest test build but that doesn't help.
Could this be a problem of dithering?

Any hint how i get rid of the banding?
I fixed the color banding with turning off smooth gradation at my Sony XE9305.
It's strange because on all my devices this is no problem at all.
Normaly i've smooth gradation set to low, which improves color banding.
@wrxtasy,

Does the Coreelec N2 support steam or moonlight game streaming?
If not, can I install Kodi on top of an ubuntu install and get HDR out of it?

I just hoping it could take over the duties of media playback as well as gaming (Kodi as well as Steam or moonlight for gaming)
