Newly purchased NVIDIA shield TV, running kodi 18 with nebula build.

Notice all sound is in stereo, I'm I missing something or should some of these movies stream with 5.1 ?

You have to go to the menu Settings->System->Audio and allow passthrough in the formats that your avr supports and when you play a video with 5.1 sound Kodi will pass it without touching it

Same thing for me. Passthrough options not showing even after enabling Expert options! The new update fucked something up because I had no issues before. All audio in stereo!

 OK, I fixed it. I changed the language but didn't restart. The passthrough options showed up after restarting Kodi. 

BTW, why is there no edit or delete post option? :/
