I"m trying to created a submenu option that shows "recently added" movies, but only movies from a smart playlist that I have already created. Like for instance, I have a smart playlist that only shows animated films. I want the recently added submenu option to only show recently added animated films. I am using the latest version of Kodi (v18) and I'm using the "Aura" skin.

Add the smart playlist as a widget.
Then click the AZ icon (2nd from the right in widget dialog).
Type "dateadded" (without quotes)
Then click the updown icon (1st from right in widget dialog) until the sort method changes to "descending".
