Kodi Community Forum

I just installed Kodi v18.1 for the first time on my 2010 Macbook. I'm trying to enable an iOS app based remote control but Kodi keeps crashing when I toggle "Allow remote control from other systems". I have Mobile Mouse Pro installed but it's running on port 9090. I've tried a few other ports with Kodi but that does nothing.

Aside: I'm really just getting started with Kodi but had XBMC installed on an original X-Box back in the day. It's nice to see this environment is continuing to evolve.

I need the crash report in addition ... as remote Control app I use official Kodi remote for iOS or Kore for android - I guess you are referring to controlling the whole Mac - not only Kodi - via remote app?
