Yesterday i have updated my Kodi from last version to Leia on osmc and my PVR Simple Client cant stream.
In the last kodi version it works.

This was tested on a clean kodi install.

I use a m3u list for PVR IPTV Simple Client to stream from my SAT/IP:

When iam trying to click on the channel icon in kodi the stream doesnt open, here is the log, pls someone can help what went wrong or is missing:

When i test these m3u List on Win 10 with VLC it works, i can show TV!

Any suggestions?

I have found out the solution :

I have changed my m3u list and on my sat/ip the protocol from http: to rtsp: !
Sample m3u


And now it works

But the only question i have is this a bug or a feature that http Protocol do not work?

ok thanks, this also works for me. changed the transport protocol from "HTTP" to "RTSP-RTP" and it runs...

I hope it is a bug, not a feature...

Tested on my FireTV stick and it is not working there, only on Kodi@WindowsPC...

i´ve got massive framedrops on FireTV with HTTP, on PC it works, but not as smooth as on HTTP.

someone fixed the problem?

I can confirm that Libreelec 9.3 (Kodi 18.3) and latest Kodi on Android TV has the same issue. If my understanding of how PVR IPTV Simple Client works is correct - the issue is with Kodi and not the plugin. The plugin only passes the URL to Kodi. Adding a SATIP URL as a favorite in Kodi does not work either in the newer releases.
