Hello,
Recently my Philips TV got update to android 8 and kodi 18.2 stopped recognizing external HDD.
after some research i found new firmware version from philips support and the external HDD problem dissapeared.
BUT new problem happen Kodi cant find UPNP/DLNA servers.
i thought that it is just one more firmware problem BUT VLC can find upnp servers without any problems.
i have tried kodi server from linux i have tried plex server, no difference, kodi on android 8 cant find server, but the same time VLC on my android TV see servers without any problems. so this is not a philips firmware problem anymore.
any ideas, suggestions ?
PS: on both kodi server and client enabled all upnp support settings (just reminding that VLC can see servers without problems but kodi cant
