Hello
I am running 2x KODI, on HiMedia version 16.1 and on PC (W10) latest 18.2
I had Kore remote on mobile, and connection to both was OK.
But recently, I was not able to connect to PC (Kodi 18.2). Connection to Kodi on HiMedia is OK.
So I tried to delete and reconfigure connection, but Kore still gives error message "Couldn't connect to Kodi/XBMC. Please Please check the configuration."

I tried also connection with Zeroconf. 
Kore is now able to find Kodi on PC. But same error as with manual configuration.
I did not change anything, but I am not sure abut automatic updates W10 / Kodi?

Any idea how to connect?

Probably something in your PC/network changed that blocked ports 8080 or 9090 and is making it impossible to connect. Check Kodi's configuration, and also Windows Firewall to make sure it didn't introduce any new rules.

Thanks, that was it. Windows Firewall updated and add rules to block ports. Before it worked, after opening ports I am connected again.
