Hi,

Just saw the rpi 4 announcement and the H.265 decoder seems integrated.. ( https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentatio.../README.md ).

Does the Kodi support of this new rpi version will be included as well ?

Thanks

No, it plays awful at best... Tongue

The device has only been published officially a couple of hours ago. Drivers and software are currently in Alpha state.

So what do you expect from 3rd party software? Yes, some Kodi/LibreELEC people have been working on it beforehand. But as it goes with all software, version 1.0 is hardly every the best, most optimized version.

it didn't mention if it was 10bit 4k or just 8bit 4k hevc.

but the video playback of that 4k looks pretty smooth of that trailer
though it was mention that other videos still had problems..

so early days..
I assume 8 bit if it's the exact same sample as this https://pastebin.com/8AuXyUvV
