Kodi "Leia" 18.3
Before the splash screen is shown there is a vertical gradient black to grey. Is there a way to change this?
Tbh, I don't know what you mean. Maybe I misunderstood...
What I see if I start Kodi using Estuary:
- short Black Screen
- Kodi Splash
- Estuary GUI
Would be nice if you could post a screenshot, so we might understand what you mean.

I take it you're using a Shield TV (or other Android device) because that's used whenever it loads an app. So there's no way to change this via Kodi.
Android device... Yes. Different apps I have on the device show only black or a different colour more so corresponding to the GUI. I will look more into this and if I find an answer I'll post it.
