I have been thinking that I would like to sort in a different ways, sometimes.
Currently, we have Rating among the sort methods. It takes the values from movie A, eg 6.1 (11,647 votes), and sort it lower than Movie B eg 6.3 (4,787 votes).
My idea is to make a calculation like this
Movie A: 6.1 x 11647 = 71046,7
Movie B: 6.3 x 4787 = 30158,1
We could divide by 1000 or 10000.
The sorting would be based on that sum. In my opinion, this value is more true for rating, than the current method.
How could something like this be achieved? Maybe I should post this question somewhere else instead?
