Hi,

I'm looking to try Kodi for the first time. Is it possible to use Kodi with a PulseEight CEC converter to turn on a TV after a blackout without user intervention (e.g. not touching a remote)? I have a windows NUC and a CEC enabled TV.

Thanks in advance!
If you have your windows set-up to auto-boot into Kodi (and the bios has instructions to auto-boot on power loss), and that in turn operates the TV onswitch through CEC, then theoretically yes. But as a practical matter, on abrupt power loss, it's likely machine has been compromised (think bit explosion) and a cold re-start would in most cases be the optimum path (in some rare cases a full hardware shutdown, aka pull the plug is needed). Depending on your needs, a UPS or Uninterruptable Power Supply might offer a solution, or to a lessor degree, configure the bios to not restart and have some sort of external power loss device (Aeon Switch) flip the switch on. What's your case usage?
