Kodi Community Forum

These errors are in the logs. Sometimes Kodi hangs with the circle and I need to reboot to wake it up again. My VNSI backend is Linux Mint with VDR 2.4.1. Could this be the reason for slowness and occational hanging? What SQL DB is it talking about? I use MySQL for libraries, but not for VNSI.

Go easy on the posting of log snippets into the forum, we prefer to have it pasted to a pastebin website such as https://paste.kodi.tv .

Kodi uses local and possibly a MySQL database. If you had posted the full debug log (wiki) file, things may have been clear already. Possibly the PVR SQLite database file got corrupted.

Ok, thank for responding.  I have gotten rid of the SQL errors but still my client freezes when deleting a recording. I can see in the server side logs that the recording gets deleted but the client does not respond after. Even clicking back etc does not work. I will do a debug log and send over in the pastebin. Sorry for not using it previously as I thought a few lines would not be an issue.

This time it did not crash until I had deleted a few recordings. But finally the freeze came. At the same time PVR server said: "VNSI: Requesting clients to reload recordings list (1)"
