Hello,
Kodi is great; I am using it for years now. Unfortunately one thing is always a complex and complicated thing:
How to centralize your database if you have kodi and the database on a local device (like the fire tv stick)?
I know there are some manuals how to edit local XML files and rebuild your database from the scratch. But this is not the best solution. The best solution would be a separate setting, where you can migrate your existing local database to a central server in your network which runs the software which is needed for this action (like mariadb). This all should be solvable in the GUI, without a need to hack XML files.
I woul love to hear your feedback about this request.
Thanks a lot
Kind regards
Brian
