Full Version: update selected movie(s) issue

When using the above stated option, the Video Source does not update. I replaced a movie with one from a different source, and after performing the above function, I noticed that the source did not change.
where do you expect should tmm get the updated source?

do you have another file name with the updated source in it?
did you manually change the NFO with the new source?

please post a complete example of your workflow (with file/folder names)

I expect tMM to get the updated source from the new file name, no different than an initial grab.

What I did is go to the folder, delete the old movie file add the new movie file, then selected to update movie. All changed just fine except the source.
okay, the behavior of tmm is intentional:

if a movie as a valid media source, we do not touch this any more to avoid false positives (incorrectly detecting/storing a "wrong" media source onĀ  every update data source)...

there is just one way around: set the media source of the movie to UNKNOWN (the blank one) before you do an update datasource
