Can I ask what operating system you are using? I am out of town and will post my Nvidia Shield log tomorrow afternoon. I will also try my Amazon Firestick and Windows PC tomorrow.

Very nice work Luna!
First impression is a fast EPG and quick changing channels.Working great in combination with my "classic" pvr backend.

Okay, I know you said stick to 10 channels, but I pushed the limit up a little bit to 15, as I wanted to see more channel groups at the top of the guide! Wink
All my channels are working like a charm, with fast scrolling and quick channel changes. Have been running the addon for over 3hrs now with no issues. In fact the only issue was Kodi continually crashing the moment I enabled my regular PVR backend. I deleted the addon folder for my backend and will take a further look at that tomorrow.

I was trying to work out how to get the channel logos working. I saw the xml file with the path for the channel icon. All my channels seem to point to the default PTVL logo at the moment. I tried changing the path to the logo folder for my Gangster Movies channel, as I had an icon handy, but no joy after I added the png, even after resetting the xmltv file and reloading the PVR.
EDIT: I just saw there is a setting in the IPTV settings to use the logo folder for the Channel logo. I selected it, but still not showing up. Do channel names with spaces make any difference?

You might also want to check out the PVR Info Dialog at some point. Most of the info is there, but is also showing a lot of code and no plot details.
Hope the initial feedback is of some use to you. Many thanks for all your hard work and congrats on this super addon.
Cheers

10 Channel cap was only set for log sanity checks; My debugging prints everything Wink

Channel logos require resource packs, I pushed an update (subversion "d") that corrects a dependency issue which would have kept the packs from self-installing.

You can place custom logos in the correct folder; documented here: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=355549
I would leave the settings to allow logos from m3u and to let PseudoTV Live configure the PVR settings as to path, etc...

Cool... glad things are going well.

I'll wait a few days; if there are no issues I'll push the next beta update which allows custom channels.
One issue I've now noticed is when a programme completes, playback stops and returns to the PVR home screen. Have now tested on 3 separate programmes. The last one, I ran the debug log.
I tried changing the playback method in the PTVL settings from PVR callback to playlist to see if that would make any difference, but playback would not start, resulting in a crash/error and having to restart Kodi.

Debug log attached:-  http://pastebin.com/VBbNJFu2
So, back home... I decided to factory reset my Nvidia Shields and start from scratch. I now am able to view tv shows! Smile I am experiencing the same thing as Dumyat on all three of my shields. When a tv show ends it returns back to the PVR screen.

Thanks for the log @Dumyat, fix is in the next update...

BTW there will always be a lag between shows, you are not playing a single stream per channel but rather loading individual videos. The playlist method will definitely speed things up... However, it breaks "PVR" so Kodi will not treat playback as if it's coming from the guide.

If you enable "Overlay" and its active during channel changes when there is a notable load time... you'll see an old school static animation. Most users will never see it as loading is a second or two.
I updated to 0.1.0e and restarted Kodi, I rebuilt M3U/XMLTV and rebuilt PVR. When a tv show ends it will show noise (random dot pixel patterns of static) and stay like that until you click back on the remote to return to the channels guide. Is there any Kodi settings I should tweak to fix this issue?

I'm not seeing this behavior on my end... I'd need a full debug log. THX

I believe your EPG data is malformed; Enter Kodis Livetv options, guide and clear data.
I think someone mentioned this before and I'm not sure what a log might be able to tell you. When switching channels, the plot displayed is a bunch of code. I've attached a debug log and a picture, not sure if this is something I've missed in the thread or something happening on your end. I just got the chance to try this out so it may have been fixed.

Thanks will be fixed in next update "f"
Unfortunately, I'm still seeing playback stopping as well and returning to the home screen after the current programme completes. I noticed that I had 3 programme all finishing within a 20 minute time window, so was keen to run a debug log to cover all 3 programmes. I updated to PseudoTV Live 0.1.0e before starting the debug log. After the reading the above post about EPG data malforming, I also cleared the guide data and started with new data prior to starting the log. If it helps, 1st programme ended at 23.33Hrs, the 2nd at 23.36Hrs and the 3rd at 23.47Hrs. First two were TV shows and the last was a movie (wanted to see if a movie would behave the same way).

I also added my custom channel logo in the way you described, but it's still not showing up for some reason.
PVR Info Dialog is now showing things correctly, so I guess that is fixed now. Smile

Again, hope this helps.
