Hello everyone,
Since Kodi updated to v18, the first video I launch after the app starts is extremely slow to load (30-40s). No matter what the size or type (Movie or TV show) is. Kodi is installed on my Nvidia Shield, the videos on my NAS, all connected via gigabit ethernet.
We can exclude a slow hard disk, or a disk spinning up. I did some tests where I made sure the NAS was up and running by accessing a video with VLC on the Shield, prior to starting Kodi and playing the very same video.
After I play the 1st video, no issue, the next ones can be launched instantly.
