So since upgrading my QNAP NAS to the V4.4 (latest) firmware my Android TV suddenly lost the ability to play files, in part.

All other devices, PCs, laptops, Android phones, work with no issue.

I uninstalled, reinstalled, set it all up from scratch.  No improvement.

The odd thing is, if I scroll down to "videos" and select the same sources, plays it with no issue what so ever.

Here is the log for when trying to open the file from "TV Shows":

Anyone got any ideas?  I even went to the extreme of uninstalling it off my Android phone, installing it again, exactly how I did on the TV, and it works fine while the TV doesn't Sad

All my devices share the same SQL DB for the library as well.
Additional - I just set it up on my phone (Samsung Note 10+) and it's failing there as well.  Works fine off an Android tablet, Windows tablet, Windows PC, and if I play from "video" not "TV Shows" or "Movies" Sad
OK... So the issue was it's decided to become case sensitive with the SMB name suddenly.  I had to change all my sources to "NAS-ARK" instead of "NAS-Ark".  Was this a recent Kodi change or did I somehow luck this into working previously?
It appears the same for files.  If I rename a file from "Testy McTest" to "Testy Mctest" it will fail.  This never use to be an issue Sad
