One thing I'm currently missing on XBMC is a usable RSS reader. I have tried some scripts in the past but most of them were unstable or not really usable enough imo.
I was wondering if XBMC's plugin system is able to provide a good base for RSS feeds.
I imagine this as a typical listview we are used to from the various great video and music plugins available showing the feed channel and image if available. Hovering a feed channel would display the feed's items in a second listview. Selecting a feed item could show the feed description in a dialog window. Major plus would be if managing feeds would be possible through UI. Or the ultimate: syncing them with with online services like google reader or netvibes for instance. So would the ability to play enclosed media items.
Would this be possible? Is someone maybe up for it? Just asking
