Hi All,
First time trying to install Kodi at all. Im currently on an iPhone XS MAX with iOS 13.2 and have installed multiple version of Kodi from 17.6 through to 18.5 through sideloading on AltStore however...
Each time after opening, the first run landing screen with info pops up and once that window is closed the app then crashes every time. Is there something i'm missing?

18.4 nightly build, as it has a couple of iOS 13 issues fixed.
Please also check if v19 works for you

Once I click the OK or X to close the "First Run" window - Kodi crashes. I'm unable to go into the settings and enable deeper debug levels.
crashlog can be found in the following ways:
- Xcode - press Cmd+Shift+2 (or from menu Window - Devices and Simulators) - select your device (connect it to the Mac if needed) - press View device logs - yours should be one of the latest
- on iPhone: Settings - Privacy - Analytics - Analytics data - find your crash, name should start with "Kodi"

nobody can reproduce your crash. I personally tried on 6+, 6s and XR.
The difference I see in your debug log is the following:

I've used AltStore (
https://altstore.io/) and sideloading feature just like the OP.
I believe altstore doesn't sign embedded libs/frameworks correctly, while App Signer does. Request support from AltStore.

When I installed Kodi through Cydia it worked and I put the magical build on it and now it crashes and won’t open, any help with this would be appreciated

So you took a nice clean install and fouled it up with some crappy piracy build that violates our
piracy policy (wiki) and invalidates any support being offered here.
I would suggest that you actually read the
forum rules (wiki) that you accepted and agreed to abide by when you signed up here, and then nuke the whole install and this time don't add
banned addons (wiki) to it. We do not condone, promote or support piracy here, nor anyone or device that is doing so.
