Hi, I was a happy user of the Asrock ION 330 but it broken now
It was smooth with Leia 18.3
So I bought a new one but it's the Pro version and very slow

What I tried
Kodi 18.5 (librelec generic Linux) - Audio not in sync
Kodi 18.5 (librelec generic Linux) - Audio not in sync

Hardware decoding of Video enabled
Audio passthrough enabled (I use optical out)
I tried lower resolutions like 720p. That is better but still not good

Upgrading the bios from 1.0 to 1.2 was an improvement but still far from good

Then I tried Windows 7 with the proper drivers and Kodi 18.5
Audio is in sync but video is lagging slightly

I can't find what is different on the 330pro vs the normal 330
All I see is that this one has a single so-dimm
And the normal 330 has 2 x normal DIMM (dual channel)
Damn it... No edit button

It should be
Kodi 18.3 (librelec generic Linux) - Audio not in sync
Kodi 18.5 (librelec generic Linux) - Audio not in sync

Mobo in the Ion 330 is I think MCP7A-ION
And that I have now is the MCP7AION-HT with so-dimm

That will come in time, as you are a new forum user.
There are some restrictions in place because of anti-spam measures.
With 11 post in over 2 years I must be the worst spammer ever  Big Grin
I'm going to abandon the ION 330pro and get a Wetek play 2 with libreElec
I meant to say your post count is still low, but as I said, those limitations will go away automatically.

Wetek Play 2... Also not the newest of devices. But if it fits your use case, good luck.
Yes it's not new but also affordable
And I need something with optical SPDIF that boots straight to Kodi (like LibreElec, CoreElec)

I ended up buying a used H96 pro plus
Got it running on CoreElec without any problems and so far I'm very happy
PVR works, Spdif optical works, harmony works, everything works Smile

ps Whoohoo I have the "edit" button Smile
