Using Nvidia Shield but I'm sure this is applicable under multiple scenarios.
When I use voice search from within Kodi to find a movie, the device brings up a menu from which I can choose to rent the thing for cash from Google Play, or visit my local iteration on Kodi. What I was hoping for was that Kodi would take over the voice search and override its OS-level functionality, so that it would, say, bring the user to the movie's location inside their skin of choice, or perhaps straight to playing the movie, depending on what setting the user had chosen. In any event, I was not hoping that if I did a voice search from within Kodi, the hardware would temporarily take me outside of Kodi in order to offer me the chance to pay for my desired movie.
Have I any options here?
