Not sure when this started but on both a Mac and PC that i own when using a Controller either through bluetooth or wired there are no gui sounds produced. If I navigate using the keyboard the sounds are produced however. This caries over on the XBOX one as i've never had navigation sounds on there just ones for alerts and updates. At least the videos I play are not silent. I'm guessing that this might have to do with whether Kodi recognizes the controller input as keyboard input or not.
