hi all,

is it possible to create a video library without files. 

i would like to create a database of tvseries i have seen along last years and now, i have not all files.?
is there any addon or can i download info from themoviedb.org and save it into any folder that kodi can use it?

Not unless you have a certain amount of SQL expertise.

You can create stub/placebo files for those episodes you do not have. Use a simple & small video file, and copy&rename it as often as necessary. Batch rename tools are handy for that.

You can create stub/placebo files for those episodes you do not have. Use a simple & small video file, and copy&rename it as often as necessary. Batch rename tools are handy for that.

Do you no if is it possible if i use themoviedb API to generate an nfo file like https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files/TV_shows. could this file be interpreted by kodi and show it as video library
