Hope this is the correct place to post this.
I've loaded the sling tv addon and put in and verified my credentials.
Every time I launch it the addon just shuts down.
I've tried this both on an android tv box and on my windows pc.
Also i have done a number of clean installs. I am thinking its
something simple I am missing but just cannot figure it out.
I do see the certificate warning in the log, but thought a certificate was optional.
Any help would be appreciated.

You are running Kodi 18.9 with inputstream.adaptive 2.4.6 which unfortunately doesn't work with this add-on. If you go here:
http://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/leia/input...ws-x86_64/
and download/install from zip the 2.4.5 version, it should fix the issue for you.
@Shore1431
Refer to this post

it has 2.4.5 builds for various systems (you'll want the windows one)

@Doctor Eggs
pretty sure I know the commit that is causing the issue:
https://github.com/peak3d/inputstream.ad...3787877e08

Funnily, that commit was stopping an add-on I'm currently working on from working.
Which lead me to this fix (to be confirmed)
https://github.com/peak3d/inputstream.adaptive/pull/564

Please try this build (that is latest Leia branch with my above PR applied)

I am experiencing the same symptoms as @Shore1431 but I have IA 2.5.1 installed from the referenced post. davokasiso.kodi (paste)
@faptaincrunch
ia 2.5.1 is for fixing playback issue.
your issue is something else.
not much in that log, you'd need to enable debug logging in kodi settings and post a new log.
Also try resetting the add-on settings to default in each category.

Thanks for the direction. I tried reinstalling Sling and IA and defaulting both settings and still nothing.. everything seems to work but Sling. Log with debugging here juvexepiyu.kodi (paste)

@matthuisman I wouldn't mind sharing some temporary sling credentials if you'd like? I've been using this add-on for 6+ months exclusively, learned a bit of Python and put in a few PRs and run a semi-modified version to fix the no audio on premium channels but other than that it's been great. Happy for the meaningful contributions!
@lasers
No thank you. Again, this is not my add-on. I am busy enough with my own add-ons and creating new ones I don't want to dive into this.
I'm interested in sorting out the playback issue only as that relates to Inputstream Adaptive which my add-ons require.

@faptaincrunch
Nothing obvious in the log. No python exceptions etc.
So, no idea what your issue is. You'll have to wait for the add-on dev to pop up.
matthuisman thanks for the help, but neither the
2.4.5 or 2.4.6 windows versions worked for me, same problem.
Here is the 2.4.5 log in case use see anything else.

looks like your issue is same as faptaincrunch.
You'll need to wait for the dev to look into it.
I'm only trying to fix the playback issue with 2.4.6

Anyone using Kodi Leia Windows, can you please test:

Out of curiosity, how did you fix the no audio problem..Can you point me to the PR? I'm still getting this for local channels

I never put in a PR for this one because I've modified the original authors code quite a bit for my needs. Do you have audio issues on Premium channels (Showtime/Epix/Starz)? If you don't I'm guessing my fix wouldn't work regardless.
