i have looked for hours now for something and havent been able to come across anything. i was wondering if there was a way to write a script or something along those lines to generate a list of the media on my Xbox and turn it into an rss feed so my friends could find out what ive gotten recently. basically i wanted to generate an xml file every so often (once a day or so) that could be put into an rss feed my friends could get to from the internet.

Isn't this kind of what Boxee is doing? (albeit not with a script)

i guess well find out i signed up for the beta. it doesnt have to be a script. if i could pull the info out of a database file or something that would also work as well for now.

Yes, Boxee feeds twitter, tumblr and FriendFeed right now but more are likely to come in the future as well:
